Julian Nagelsmann has been appointed as the new head coach of the Germany national team, the German Football Association (DFB) has announced.

Nagelsmann is one of the most highly-rated young coaches in the world and has impressed during his time in charge of RB Leipzig.

He led Leipzig to the semi-finals of the Champions League in 2020 and has also won the DFB-Pokal twice.

Nagelsmann will be tasked with leading Germany to success at the 2024 European Championship, which will be held in Germany.
